Drug Rehabilitation Services in Barrie Ontario
In the city of Barrie there is only one government-funded outpatient counseling center. There are no residential therapy-based in-patient drug rehabilitation services. However there is a medically supervised detoxification facility and several residential rehab programs serving the Barrie area within a half hour's drive of the city.
Drug Rehab Centers in Brampton Ontario
Brampton offers a limited range of drug rehabilitation services. As in many cities in Ontario there is a withdrawal management facility and a counseling center for drugs, alcohol and gambling. However if an individual requires a residential rehab program to spend a month or more focused on his or her own rehabilitation he or she will have to travel a short distance.
Substance Abuse Treatment in Cornwall Ontario
In Cornwall Ontario there are three main services available to those suffering with addiction. The first line of defense in an emergency is the short-term withdrawal management facility for those suffering from acute detox symptoms. Then there is an office for assessment and referral to recovery centers and an office for Aboriginal people. Finally there is an outpatient office offering addiction treatment in day or evening classes. For live-in treatment one will have to travel.
Addiction Treatment in Etobicoke Ontario
Within the actual city of Etobicoke there is only one substance abuse treatment program which is focused on adolescent addiction recovery with some services extending to the families of adolescent addicts but with Etobicoke's close proximity to Toronto all addiction treatment services are available to residents but they must travel a short distance to receive detox, residential drug rehab or counseling for an adult.
Recovery Centers in Georgetown Ontario
The services available to treat addiction in Georgetown Ontario are quite limited. As with many suburban communities Georgetown relies on the infrastructure of neighboring larger communities to provide health services. Within the town of Georgetown all that is available are private fee-for-service counselors. All other services are offered in other communities.

Hamilton is a large working class city with a formidable drug problem. Drug Rehabilitation Centers in Kenora Ontario
Kenora is a smaller city and as a result there aren't as many options for drug rehab and alcohol addiction treatment. Nevertheless, there are several First Nations addiction treatment programs developed exclusively for the aboriginal population of Kenora and the local district. All others in need of anything further than assessment and treatment planning will have to travel several hours to a residential treatment program, detox or to access other services.
Addiction Treatment Services in Kingston Ontario
Kingston has developed a significant drug problem over the years with addictions to cocaine, Oxycontin and methamphetamine now commonplace. To address the need, there is just barely a full complement of addiction treatment options with one each of residential program, assessment office, detox facility and counseling service.
London Ontario Drug Rehab Services
London Ontario boasts a full complement of addiction treatment options for its residents including a detox center, numerous residential treatment centers, aboriginal counseling and at least one assessment and community counseling office. In spite of having a full battery of treatment centers there can still be waiting lists for all addiction treatment in London.

Markham is a fairly new suburb of Toronto and as of yet has no government funded addiction treatment programs. There are however a series of psychologists and psychotherapists that can provide fee for service counselling in the area. furthermore being that Markham has such a close proximity to toronto and its other suburbs there are a full host of service available a short drive from Markham.
Substance Abuse Treatment and Rehabilitation Services in Mississauga
Mississauga has a decent lineup of drug rehab options. There is a youth addiction treatment center offered through the YMCA there is an assessment and referral office and an outpatient treatment program offered at the Credit Valley Hospital.
