Description: The Detoxification Centre is open 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. As part of Hotel Dieu Hospital, we offer short-term, non-medical treatment service for men and women over age 16, who want to detoxify from alcohol and/or other drugs, who are waiting for intake into a treatment program, or who are in danger of a relapse. We offer supportive counselling and referrals to community services, self-help groups and ongoing treatment programs. Walk-ins or telephone crisis response is also provided.

Description: This program emphasizes the "whole man concept" in an attempt to provide a healthier lifestyle physically, mentally, emotionally, socially, and spiritually. An 18-bed residential treatment centre for men, ages 18 and older, who suffer from alcohol and/or drug dependency. The program involves assessment, treatment, rehabilitation, and aftercare. It also integrates social, physical, and mental considerations founded in a philosophy of spiritual principles and service.
